Pandora - The find of the day

It was suggested by a friend of mine to visit the website www.pandora.com. It is a web site where in you can say your favourite singer’s name and the website will compile a list of songs of his genre and then play them to you. It is very nice with some great songs being played. Some that you have heard before and liked and some new and you are bound to like. Good website. I suggest it be seen by anyone who really loves their music.

Yesterday I and Jitu prepared some good Indian food for our British friends in the U.K. It was a nice experience with loads of dishes. I never claim myself to be a great cook but good to know that the different taste produced by us was appreciated and liked. And as always making food friends makes you happy as it is the ultimate form of sharing.

Unfortunately I am in a sort of grumpy mood today. It is not worth jotting about out here in this blog so will not venture into it. But the songs are helping me get over it. J

what a great site, this could be expensive!!! Hearing new bands. liking them, needing the cd etc

So you are a cook too! I've always been interested in how indian food in the restarents compare with the real thing. My guess is as with all foods you can buy in other countries is nothing like the real thing!

Good to know that you liked it. Shortly you will start playing it as soon as you log on to your computer. I have compiled a nice collection of John Denver genre.it is really nice. :-)

Well, to be truthful the indian restraunts in Norwich aren't that great. I am really sorry to say that but it does not taste Indian at all. Something else that tries to be Indian. London has some good places to have indian food. Also the Indian food is varied from the north of india to the south of india. from the east of india to the west of india. different food, different culteres, different language. as we aptly say in our text books 'Unity in Diversity' :-)

Do you like indian food? if yes, what is it that you prefer to have?

I’ll be honest I’m not sure what food I really like as I'm normally a little boring when ordering.

Madras, Rogan josh, tikka masala, something like that is what I normally go for.

Would love to know about the food and what more true Indian food is.

The best way is to try to make them. Indian food vary from state to state. from north to south, east to west...it is different. Also you should know that many of Indians prefer a huge lot of vegetarian food which is amazing to have. it is a matter of your taste. For eg. if you go north, the main staple diet is chappati. so the food that is prepared by them is generally rich, creamy, less spicy and to an extend dry. but in south rice is the preferred food item, the food gets more hot, very spicy and liquidy to mix rice with it. why don't you go to the site www.bawarchi.com and try making some of the recipies there.
