Tomorrow is India’s republic day. A wonderful occasion for all Indians to take time and remember the sacrifices of various people to gain our independence. We the independent Indians do not fathom the struggle that great leaders and common people in India had to go through to gain the free air that they breathe.
I feel that it is the responsibility of the youth of this country to take this country forward, enabling greater distribution of wealth, decrease the disparity between haves and have-nots. It is a great challenge and I am sure that the youth of this great country has the ability to do it. But I don’t want my beloved country to become like the U.S; I don’t want my country to model some other country but to lead by example. I feel that we have done that to an extent. Being the world’s largest democracy is no mean achievement. But to continue will be more challenging. Can India do it? Of course she can and trust me she will.

...Republic day is mostly for the constitution formation..it took some yrs till 25th Jan 1950 to lay the rules for republic india..and Indian constitution to be framed.
