What a great story. I wonder whether his personal achievement was more important than saving someones life. Or was it a case that this guy was going to die irrespective of what they did? Dunno - but interesting
I agree. We never know unless we know under what circumstances that decision was taken isn't it? Only the person will know. Hopefully he did what his concience (i guess i am spelling it wrongly) asked him to do.
