I know for many who are not accustomed to India, this will come as a surprise. A business school has made a rule that not one student can wear Jeans and tops to college. This has lead to a confrontation between students and authorities...
"Some one can vote for a govt (18 year olds can vote in India) do not have the sense to wear what in college???" an agitated student asks...and I reckon that is a genuine question.
It is amazing how we have the ability to forget the important issues such as educating young minds but will pass such draconion laws in colleges. God save this country.

This is sickening. No wonder we have so much brain drain.
well you are true..we leave out all the important issues like how to do education, how to make the youth strive for better, how to improve morality etc etc and we think of jeans
You never know where this could end up. My understanding is now for early morning classes some students are skipping the jeans and going to class in pajamas. But that's in the US, where of course many developers wear jeans, and maybe t shirts to work.
I am not for people to come to classed in Bikinis. There should be some restriction on what to wear and what not to wear...
But over restriction is also not good isn't it? There are far more important issues that need to be tackled where as those are ignored.
