I wonder

When we are in our childhood we desparetely are waiting to become older and when we get old, we yearn for childhood.

Isn't this a remarkable paradox.

Yes! Children would even claim that they are not children anymore and that they are mature and 'big'. But when gettig old, we would always want to relive those past moments and want to be young! Good post!

I guess human nature is to want what they don't have.. :-)... i think most (not all) of the humans cannot enjoy their current states... :-))

And that's why they say:
"Man, as a rule is a fool.
When its hot, he wants it cool,
When its cool, he wants it hot,
Always wanting what is not"

That is why they say that the paradox of life is that it has to be l;ived forward but understood backward!
