Is it a good idea to blog? Is it a good idea to let the world know what type of person you are? What are your preferences? What are you likes and dislikes? What are your prejudices? What is your opinion on world/tech/political issues? Can blogging be used against you by a potential employer to decide whether to hire you or not? Can something that you have written about 5 years ago be used against you?
These are several issues surrounding blogging. Because it is a formal medium of communication where in you are communicating your thoughts, you ideas to the unknown world. And yes it is quite possible for people to form an opinion about you from your blogs. I think any blogger should keep this in mind and have a code for himself when posting his thoughts.
