If I can stop one heart from breaking

This poem is written by Emily Dickinson. I came to see this poem in a "Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work" series and I thank them for this poem.

IF I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Amazing writing. I don't understand poems very well. But the above poem is remarkable and I reckon I will take some time off to read more of it written by Emily Dickinson.
