The one most important and widely impacting change that I see now a days in Chennai is the growing of FM channels in this city. It has 9 channels playing music all day through. So if you are bored of one, you can change and fortunately my mobile has radio . Just imagine the pleasure that I am getting when I get to hear music. Radio City plays Hindi and English songs also which the other private broadcasters don't do in Chennai. They still consider Chennai to be a taboo...That is sad....Anyways...
Till now the govt. has not allowed private fm broadcasters in producing and broadcasting public affairs programme. I can't for the love of God understand the reason for the same. The private guys are smart...what they do is they ask viewers to comment on the various things in their chat shows like the recent budget, cricket and all. Though they still stop themselves from going to the serious stuff.

Well...Once upon a time we had none, then one...thinking of that time this is a huge change...this has also resulted in people to listen to radio...
