Devotion and Faith are funny emotions. It transcends borders, hearts, minds, intellect and rationality. I was watching a malayalam tv channel called Amrita TV. For those who don't know there is a spiritual guru named Mata Amritanandamayi, who expresses her divinity through unlimited love for fellow human beings. They were showing her trip to Tokyo. I was seeing thousands of Japanese people praying, showering their affection in the form of roses, prayers and unexplainable love, devotion and faith. A little girl called Momo, 4 years old, had come with her mother to see Mata Amritanandamayi. She presented Amma with her piggy bank, her savings. Mata Amritanandamayi just smiled, hugged, kissed the little girl for her devotion. She really was overwhelmed and I found that scene really emotional. Touching...
