Who to replace Sven?

This is one question that is being thrown around quite a lot now a days. It has become so common now, i am finding it difficult to throw it out of circulation. The repetition has become so irritating as the itch in the wrong place.

Some many things have been talked on whom to replace. But i wonder Is this the time to ask the question? Does it matter for england whom will replace sven after world cup? Isn't this the time to concentrate on World Cup and let the guys do their job?

Another question is should the new manager be british or not? I was watching the Jimmy Hill suppliment during this week end on sky sports and there was an interesting argument put forward by Jimmy. As you know quite a lot of names are floating around - Pearce, Sam bladi blah blah.... Jim asked the participants to name a few english people for the job and the above mentioned names came up. He asked one question - Has any of the teams that they manage won any league ? Premeirship, Championship etc...and as you know the answer - that was a 'No'. Should the nationality of the person be the only criterion for the job? I would think 'No'. Please don't get me wrong, If there is a John Smith in Yorkshire who can do this job, then he should get it.

As you would have noticed, I am not a British national. I can only think of the Indian National team as an example. India had Indian coaches only for some time for cricket. Though they were very good cricketers, they were never able to coach the team to repeated success. The change in the team after having John Wright and Greg chappel is for everyone to see. New youngsters coming up. India has won the last 13 matches chasing. India has traditionally never been a chasing side. It puts in huge totals and tries to win matches. Who has bought in this change in attitude? The new guys who have come and drastically changed attitude and approach. That is the most important factor that has bought about this change

I think that the question that should be asked is who is best for the job and not where is he from? Also i think that the general public does not care a damn about who is going to be the new manager as long as England wins. It is a few quarters in the media and the so called Media pundits who create the whole problem. There is an 'FA' whose job is to find out the answer. Why so much hullaboo from others whose opinion does not affect the 'FA' in any way be concerned??? May the best man get selcted. Me being in England for some time had lead me to support england in its sporting endeavous as long as the opposition is not India. Best of Luck to England in the World Cup.
