My cricket net experience

Yesterday evening I went to the lovely village of Acle, nearby Norwich to play in cricket nets with the other crickets of the Acle Cricket Club. I tried a bit of bowling and batting and I should add, did a good job of embarassing myself. But that is fun. I saw some extremely talented players who if given an opportunity can really perform at higher levels. It was fun and i enjoyed bowling in the lush green surroundings, extremely rare in India. I will be playing in the sunday league in Acle this coming sunday. Hopefully i will be able to contribute more and enjoy myself this sunday. But as of now, i hav e a stiff neck and back with aching calf muscles. so much for my cricketing fun. I wonder how am i going to survive a 40 over cricket match. only time will tell.
