Plans to cool the earth artificially????
A detailed report in NYTimes that discusses various methods that have been proposed to cool the earth artificially....a whole load of ideas ranging from putting sulpher particles in stratosphere to reflect more light to creating false mists in ocean clouds to reflect more earth. No scientist have given importance to these ideas more of them calling 'Preposterous' and hardly any govt. funding. This article discusses the various ideas, merits and demerits. Read the sam here.
