Sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point

A very very beautiful picture of sunset at North pole with the moon at its closest point. It is amazing and at the same time really scary...your thoughts...

Photo scare pannale..But I was just thinking what will be my emotion when i see such a sight for real. So big a moon and so close to us...will it not scare us. I think it will intially....

Great photo indeed, however you will never see this for real. :-(

Like most great things, this is often sent as part of a chain email. These are often innocent in content but contain usually urban myths.

Although the image has been circulating as a "photograph" of "sunset at the North Pole," it is a purely digital creation. As far as I know, it is a work entitled "Hideaway," produced by a 22-year-old German astrophysics student named Inga Nielsen using TerragenTM scenery rendering software.

ohh really. That is a tad disappointing. I was really impressed by the picture and wondering about the 'big'ness of the whole stuff.
