Blacking out in Sydney

Does this actually help in climate warming? talking about India..we have electricity cuts even in bombay...the financial hub??? that is such a regular feature...no body bother...people who can afford generators...use it...that is all....

Hey just to let u know, south bombay where most offices are located suffer as good as no powercuts. power is provided by tata there which actually buys power from reliance and MSEB the other boards operating here. its is a rather affluent area and suffers to no power cuts whereas thane & panvel which are cities near mumbai suffers major power as good as 5-10 hours a day and incrersing. the electricity boards in these towns sell power to TATA. It is just the middle class and lower middle classes that are suffering.

@anonymous >> You basically endorsed my feeling...I mean ....if you have money you get power otherwise not...that is the simple truth...so cutting electricity for some time in any city in India is not going to make any one more aware of climate warming...
